Isabella Rose Hackerman is a ceramics artist who uses the pottery wheel as well as various hand-building techniques to create pieces that embody themes of beauty, femininity, and sexuality. Through her sculpture and pottery, she aims to create objects that reflect her interests in the empowerment of looking and feeling sexy. Isabella earned her Master’s in Fine Art at Claremont Graduate University in 2022, where she focused on creating work that challenged gender stereotypes, women’s rights, and American beauty standards.
Isabella currently teaches at Chaffey College, and the American Museum of Ceramic Art.
